Job Responsibility:

  • MRB Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material and structural technical engineering issues
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, providing technical engineering guidance
  • Analyze stress reports, non-conformities, and deviations, proposing effective solutions
  • Work closely with DADs to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Technical Engineering Structural Analysis: Conduct detailed stress analysis using finite element methods (FEM) and classical hand calculations
  • Evaluate structural components, assemblies, and modifications
  • Assess fatigue life, static strength, and damage tolerance
  • Identify critical areas and propose design improvements
  • Technical Engineering Documentation: Prepare stress reports, technical engineering compliance documents, and engineering change requests (ECRs)
  • Document findings, assumptions, and methodologies
  • Maintain accurate records for certification purposes
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to enhance stress analysis tools and methodologies
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in stress analysis for aircraft structures
  • Proficiency in FEM software (such as Nastran, Abaqus, or Ansys)
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
