Job Description

I am seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to join my client’s team, to be based at a large corporate financial building in Aldgate. In this role, you will primarily oversee a team of 2 shift engineers who perform maintenance tasks managed with PDA. You will spend 50% of your time off the tools, focusing on leadership / supervisory duties, with the flexibility to assist with hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks when necessary for technical support.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Assist with PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required for technical support, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
  • Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues
  • Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines
  • Provide technical support to the engineering team to assist with M&E planned & reactive repair/maintenance tasks

Requirements

  • Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical (Level 3 ideally)
  • Proven experience in a similar M&E Maintenance Supervisory or Leadership role
  • Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance of M&E and critical systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
