Job Description:

We are hiring a Desktop Engineer to support and improve our enterprise endpoint environment. This role is responsible for maintaining our desktop operating systems, managing endpoint policies, supporting security controls, resolving complex desktop incidents, and helping streamline and automate desktop management processes. This engineer will work closely with infrastructure, security, and service desk teams to ensure a secure, stable, and efficient end-user computing experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing enterprise desktop environments, including operating system lifecycle management, patching, device management platforms (e.g., Intune, SCCM, JAMF), and policy configuration
  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex endpoint issues that are escalated from the service desk, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in desktop management processes and improve them through scripting, automation, and operational improvements
  • Manage enterprise desktop environments: imaging, policy management, and device management platforms
  • Advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Process optimization and automation via scripting, deployments, and remediations
