Job Description:

The Technical Editing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations, technical infrastructure, and content management workflows that enable the Client Creative team and broader media operations. This role serves as a key technical resource responsible for system monitoring, troubleshooting, media processing, archival management, and stakeholder support. The position requires deep technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively resolve issues to maintain operational continuity, quality standards, and on-time delivery of media assets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contributes to technical projects related to system defects, enhancement, data integrity and other functional-related processes
  • Collaborates with technical teams in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades/releases
  • Translates functional requirements into technical documentation to support specific implementation scenarios, reports or queries utilizing appropriate tool
  • Serves as an escalation for system support cases
  • Executes process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of process design and redesign skills to present functional and technical solutions
  • Supports, documents and maintains configuration of third-party vendors for the platform functional footprint
  • Supports the technical/functional recommendations based on the features of new enhancement packages, competitive applications and products
  • Documents test cases and executes test scenarios
  • Maintains system tables and document integration processes as well as results
  • Provides feedback regarding best possible user experience for application users
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with CatDV or similar MAM systems
  • Experience managing large, shared storage systems (LucidLink, Backblaze, cloud storage)
  • Strong general Mac Admin/IT troubleshooting skills (network issues, workstation problems, permissions, etc.)
  • Basic editing skills (Premiere, After Effects, or similar)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Work Experience 2-5 Years
