The Technical Documentation Specialist is responsible for creating, updating, and managing all technical documentation related to the machines and equipment supplied by Global Automation to its customers. This role reports to the System Engineering Manager and collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to support product quality, compliance, and organizational objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare user manuals and all required technical documentation for machines and equipment
Utilize MS Office and associated software tools to produce clear, accurate, and compliant documentation
Develop a solid understanding of Baxter products, materials, and production processes
Analyze contractual documentation requirements and ensure full compliance
Serve as a point of contact for coordination and preparation of technical documents issued by other plants
Apply knowledge of safety regulations and European Standards related to machinery manufacturing
Support coding and classification activities for drawing‑based materials
Translate technical documentation from local languages to those required by the end customer
Assist the System Engineering team with the preparation, writing, and archiving of additional documents such as budgetary proposals
Requirements:
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and additional tools (Publisher, technical manual software, video creation tools)
Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities
Ability to interact effectively with System Engineering designers while also working independently when required
Understanding of machines produced by Sapa Prodotti Plastici sagl
Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or humanities (foreign languages preferred)
3–5 years of experience in technical documentation management, ideally within the field of automatic machinery
