Job Description:

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of Technical Product Information in accordance with established writing guidelines and standards. This role involves monitoring and inspecting content, working closely with the team's Technical Writers, reporting on any quality-related issues, and providing training to Technical Writers.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the correction and review of documentation created by the local Technical Writers
Establish, improve, and update writing guidelines for English content creation
Structure modular texts within the CMS System ST4
Assume responsibility for quality and standards as an ambassador
Assume responsibility for creating and updating documentation included with products based on norms and company-internal standards
Coach and mentor junior technical writers and onboarders across different businesses
Conduct training courses for new onboarders
Complete timely and accurate audits and report on findings
Ensure all relevant regulations, work rules, and quality procedures are followed on the department

Requirements:

High level of technical expertise
Advanced user knowledge in XML-based editing systems, preferably ST4
Knowledge of media editing
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, C1 or equivalent
Focus on service and customer-orientation and a commitment to quality
Ability to work on a team and independently
Good communication skills and a sociable demeanour
Willingness to work with international teams, with sound intercultural skills & understanding
Ability to convey difficult concepts in a simple and understandable manner
Willingness to travel 10–15% for onsite training
