We are looking for a Technical Director for one of our clients with the following details: Start date: ASAP Contract: Direct Hire Location: Abu Dhabi UAE

Job Responsibility:

  • Rail project experience is a must
  • Rail project experience in Middle East is preferred (Doha Metro, Riyadh Metro, Dubai Metro). Ensure the management (i.e. identification, allocation, traceability) and the fulfilment of Overall System Requirements for the entire life cycle of the project (Design and Testing)
  • Guarantee the identification and the management of the project interfaces among the subsystems and of external interfaces according to the project scope of work
  • Guarantee the proper and effective delivery of System Architecture, On Board Functionalities and Vehicle Integration
  • Guarantee an effective and efficient preparation and execution of factory and Site Tests to verify and validate System Architecture, main System Functions and Vehicle Integration, Interfaces and Operating Scenarios
  • Ensure the Verification activities of System integration documents, according to the V&V Plan
  • Ensure the application across assigned turnkey projects of standardized and optimized solutions to increase project efficiency and fulfil contract requirements
  • Ensure the continuous updating of the design standards about System Integration in accordance with the technology and process improvements
  • Ensure the sharing of the technological lesson learnt across projects in System Integration and in the core Subsystems analysis
  • Support the implementation of the adequate and effective technical solution (e.g. interfaces with customer)
  • Ensure that System Integration tests are performed across projects optimizing methodologies and sharing results
