Technical Designer

• Tech Pack Development: Build and finalize a backlog of approximately 10 technical packages. This includes audit-checking existing data and filling in missing specifications
• Technical Sketching: Create precise, to-scale flat sketches and detail callouts (closures, seams, safety stitching) using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
• Data Management: Input and organize all technical data within Excel-based tech packs, ensuring accuracy in measurements and construction notes
• Material Support: Assist in building out material libraries and bill of materials (BOM), ensuring all components meet juvenile product standards
• Sample Reviews: Attend in-office sessions as needed to review physical samples with the design team, providing technical feedback on fit, construction, and quality

• 3+ years in Technical Design, specifically within the juvenile goods, infant apparel, or soft goods industries
• Expert-level skills in Adobe Illustrator and Excel are required
• Proficiency in Photoshop is a plus
• Deep understanding of garment/product construction, workmanship, and 'Safety First' design principles for infants
• Ability to take a partially finished file or a physical sample and identify exactly what is missing to make it production-ready
• Strong collaborative skills for in-person sample reviews and the ability to work independently on remote drafting tasks
• Must be available to come into the office [1-2x/week] to review samples and prototypes

Proficiency in Photoshop is a plus
