Job Description

Join us as Technical Design Inventor based in Pune to prepare drawings for Engineering Projects like GA and fabrication drawings of mechanical equipment, and layout. You will be responsible for drafting mechanical equipment especially complex vessels for EOS, Evaporator, etc and layout. Furthermore, you will play an important role in the development and use of our standard design vessel interface.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing 3D standard/Library parts in Autodesk Inventor
  • Use of Autodesk Vault to upload library parts
  • Prepare Skid and 3D layouts, piping in Inventor for small process units
  • Secure design and verification process for appointed equipment
  • Create item for purchase in our ERP system
  • Attend & support review meetings in order to resolve issues pertaining to Piping
  • Maintenance of drawing database
  • Knowledge in Inventor skeleton modelling and I-Parts
  • Prepare drawings for Engineering Projects like GA and fabrication drawings of mechanical equipment, and layout
  • Drafting mechanical equipment especially complex vessels for EOS, Evaporator, etc and layout
  • Play an important role in the development and use of our standard design vessel interface

Requirements

  • BE / B. Tech (Mechanical) with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Diploma mechanical with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Autodesk Inventor+ Vault Software knowledge must
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Minimum 3 year experience with engineering work: preferably experience and knowledge about creation of standard parts / Library parts and uploading them in Autodesk Vault
  • Experience in preparing skid, 3D layout and piping of small process units
  • Good command on Microsoft Excel
  • You are proactive
  • You have good Cross functional awareness

Nice to have

Hands on experience from similar job in tank fabricating workshop is a plus
