We don't just sell cutting-edge fashion and accessories, we create it. Our talented fashion design team — the Nordstrom Product Group — develops, designs, produces and sources 50-plus private Nordstrom labels. From traditional to trendy, this team is shaping the styles and looks our customer love.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and external partners to ensure outcomes align with design intent and brand requirements
  • Align and deliver to agreed calendar milestones
  • Create and maintain consistent fit, construction and construction images of the product
  • Create and align measurement worksheet to deliver to factories
  • Follow the sample through fit approvals to production
  • ensure fit consistency appropriate to brand
  • Support block pattern development and approvals and collaborate with Pattern Engineer and Product Developer on new fits for development
  • Schedule and lead fit sessions and communicate changes to achieve final fit and construction to meet brand requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design, Pattern Making or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in production fitting and pattern making
  • Ability to demonstrate capabilities through fit test
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and MS Office Suite. Product Lifecycle Management system experience required
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Full understanding of grade rules and tolerances
