Job Description

The Technical Design Lead at NTT DATA is responsible for overseeing the delivery and quality of technical designs. This role involves translating business requirements into design documents, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with architects.

Job Responsibility

  • Acting as the technical lead accountable for the overall delivery, quality, and stability of functionalities
  • Leading and contributing to technical design activities, including translating functional and business requirements into High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents
  • Ensuring compliance with architecture standards, coding guidelines, and design best practices across all components
  • Reviewing and approving technical designs, code, and implementation approaches to ensure solution quality and consistency
  • Collaborating directly with OTN Architects to align application designs with network architecture and telecom requirements
  • Interpreting and clarifying requirements and effectively communicating them to the development team
  • Identifying technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges early and proposing appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Identifying technical and team capability needs and mobilizing required actions in coordination with management
  • Providing technical guidance to resolve implementation issues and blockers
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders when required, including technical discussions, design walkthroughs, and clarifications
