As a Data Operations Analyst, you will be the guardian of our data quality, acting as a critical link between raw web data and client-facing insights. This role is perfect for a hands-on specialist who enjoys the 'puzzle' of reverse-engineering websites and fixing complex, low-level data issues with precision and efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor & Triage: Perform daily health checks on our ETL and Parser data pipelines
Investigate & Diagnose: Dive deep into data anomalies using our internal Detector platform
Develop, Fix & Optimize: Take direct ownership of fixing the extraction logic
Handle Ad-Hoc Feature Development: Field incoming requests from stakeholders to add new data fields
Lead New Domain Discovery: Manage the end-to-end process for on-boarding new websites
Test & Release: Adhere to a rigorous QA workflow
Document & Collaborate: Maintain meticulous records in Jira and communicate directly with stakeholders
Requirements:
Proven experience in data quality, data operations, or web scraping-focused role JSON structures
Hands-on experience writing extraction logic from scratch using CSS Selectors and RegEx
Proficiency with JQ for parsing and manipulating complex, embedded JSON objects
A strong focus on performance and optimization
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an obsessive attention to detail
The ability to work methodically through complex, multi-step technical workflows and adhere to a rigorous QA process
Experience using issue-tracking software, such as Jira
Excellent written communication skills, with a talent for creating clear and concise technical documentation
A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and escalate issues when necessary

Experience with large-scale e-commerce data, particularly from major retailers like Amazon
