Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Technical Consultant to join Microsoft Federal. The Microsoft Federal organization was established to address the unique mission, legal/regulatory requirements, and procurement rules and processes of the United States Government (USG).

Job Responsibility:

  • Ability to design and implement secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments
  • Proficiency in network architecture concepts
  • Experience enabling secure application access and publishing solutions
  • Skills in identifying, analyzing, and resolving network issues
  • Participates in the pre-sale process as needed
  • Participates in and/or may lead meetings with customers/partners to understand their business needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 1+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • Verification of U.S citizenship
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as code
  • Experience in Networking
  • Technical Design, develop and implementation
  • Possess DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification or higher, or able to obtain within the first 60 days of employment
  • Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics) , or able to obtain within the first 60 days of employment
  • 3+ years work experience in relevant area of business
