Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Technical Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a main role in supporting the Core Technical team across Installation, Deployment and monitoring of Transact environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain different Transact environments
  • Deployment: Manage the deployment of data records on different Transact environments, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Transact servers and applications, providing timely support to development and operations teams
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize Transact server performance through tuning and configuration adjustments
  • Security: Implement and maintain security best practices for Transact environments and access controls
  • Monitoring: Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of Transact servers
  • Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute upgrades and patches for Transact servers to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest features and security fixes

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of overall experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years as Technical consultant overseeing Transact related activities
  • Proficiency in JBoss EAP (Enterprise Application Platform)
  • Strong knowledge of Java EE technologies
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python)
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
