Job Description

The Technical Consultant will work with solution architects and customers to help them get the as per their designed requirement and turn the requirement into technical flows with an optimal solution. As a Technical Consultant (TC), you will draw on your technical, problem solving skills to help customers successfully manage and adopt Zuora products. Your technical experience, attitude and aptitude will play a critical part in your deliverables. As a TC, you will regularly engage with your solution architects, technical architects, including executives of large enterprises and a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team. A successful TC utilizes their technical skills, communication skills and ability to understand requirements to effectively convert business needs into best possible solutions. A Zuora TC works closely with our SA’s, TA’s, SDM’s, Customers and Product Engineers, responsible for delivering the solution agreed and defined by SA’s.

Job Responsibility

  • Work directly with Zuora Product Engineers on customer use cases and feedback
  • Understand Zuora product and subscriptions business
  • Understand and Implement data/object models
  • Understand process flows and architecture diagrams
  • Widen scope while talking to diversified teams across regions
  • Develop and customize on top of OOTB available features and functionalities
  • Provide your customers expertise on their business needs underlying Zuora product, Zuora APIs and integration best practices
  • Document technical Solutions, checklists and runbooks with the customer for sign-off
  • Provide guidance and Implement best practices to turn customers requirement into technical solutions
  • Help customers with their UATs and production deployments
  • Handover the solution to support team to ensure customer gets the continued support after going live
  • Get opportunity to work on workflows, HTML templates, Data Migration, Zuora CPQ, Zuora 360, Salesforce
  • Supports the customer with regularly scheduled calls to answer functional and technical questions
  • Work with great consultants and gain from their experiences and knowledge

Requirements

  • At least 3-8 years of technical experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in consulting roles within a professional services organization
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science or in Business preferred
  • Code experience such as Java, Java script, Python, Salesforce APEX, SQL, PLSQL or another programming language
  • Object oriented framework experience
  • Ability to review API documentation and use APIs to implement the solution and troubleshoot API integrations
  • Ability to understand the requirements clearly and implement them to have smooth customer experience
  • Understand the Zuora product
  • Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level, able to collaborate as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid paced implementation environment
  • Experience managing tasks on multiple projects simultaneously
