Job Description:

The Technical Communication Specialist will focus on creating and delivering effective technical communication for IKEA's Range Area Seating. Responsibilities include analyzing customer needs, working on product communication such as measurements, care instructions, and installation details, and ensuring legal requirements are met. The Specialist will closely collaborate with other teams, provide support during product development and ensure high-quality outputs aligned with IKEA's tone and customer perspective.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze and identify technical communication needs based on customer and legal requirements
Work closely with Sales Specialist and Communicator to ensure commercial perspective in product development
Create and follow-up technical communication content
Brief and lead communication production suppliers
Contribute to annual Commercial plan with a technical communication perspective
Ensure content readiness and impact on budget.

Requirements:

Detail-oriented and structured
Excellent communication skills securing the IKEA tone of voice
Ability to turn complex technical information into customer-friendly communication
Passion for technical communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strong skills in administrative tasks
Initiative-taking and ability to juggle competing priorities
Ability to work within deadlines and handle complex assignments.
