AMD is currently looking for a Business Development Manager within the Enterprise Business Group which is part of the Compute and Enterprise AI Business Unit. This person will be responsible for supporting our European sales and marketing teams through product expertise, content development, and implementing GTM strategies. There is a major customer-facing component to the role.
Job Responsibility
Develop relationships with AMD sales teams in order to proactively understand their needs to help enable their success
Present product & technology roadmaps to end-customers, in coordination with sales, to help influence the customers’ buying decision
Partner with sales to drive incremental business at T2 Cloud Service Providers
Conduct product training for channel partners, OEM field teams, and ecosystem partners as applicable
Partner with European Regional Marketing, Sales and Channel teams on GTM activities and provide content or resource support as needed
Develop content that best communicates our value proposition and ensures sales success
Provide customer and sales feedback into AMD Product Management to help shape our future roadmap
Requirements
Proficiency in at least one of the Data Center product segments (Server, Storage, Networking, Software)
Strong understanding of Data Center market trends and vendor landscape
At least 3-5 years of working experience in B2B IT industry (e.g., at OEM, ODM, Cloud, ISV, Channel Partner or another vendor)
Ability to navigate both sales and technical discussions
Strong presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
