This dynamic role focuses on driving new business opportunities, managing the RFQ process, and ensuring project success. Job Responsibility:
Business Development: Work closely with the sales team to build and secure new projects
Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met
RFQ Process: Collaborate with internal departments to create detailed, commercially viable proposals and ensure timely follow-ups after submission
Project Oversight: Manage ongoing projects, ensuring seamless handovers to the operations team and alignment with business objectives
Strategic Planning: Conduct market, competitor, and sector analyses to support informed decision-making
Reporting: Submit regular updates on sales performance and market insights to the Managing Director
Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations to clients, showcasing service offerings and project solutions
Requirements:
Expertise in the manufacturing or sub-contract engineering industry, with knowledge of precision CNC multi-axis turning and milling being advantageous
Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to develop compelling proposals
Excellent analytical skills to assess and interpret data, creating actionable strategies
Advanced organisational and communication skills, including proficiency with preparing reports, tender documents, and presentations
Proven track record in achieving targets and delivering results
Experience with project management in a manufacturing context, including sales, quality, purchasing, engineering, and resource planning
