FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL is seeking multiple Technical Business Analysts to join our consulting team for a long-term engagement with a leading wealth management client. Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will play a key role in a major transformation initiative by driving advice automation and delivering critical technology solutions. Additionally, FinXL can provide visa sponsorship and take over existing visas for eligible consultants.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as the interface between the business and technology teams to translate solutions
  • Conduct analysis to determine business or system requirements
  • Assist product owners to define the value definition of stories
  • Plan and execute system testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Provide first-level analysis and support for data-related queries

Requirements

  • 7+ years of dedicated business analysis experience
  • Technical Business Analyst experience (advice, superannuation, or wealth is desirable)
  • Proficiency in Agile planning software including Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with process mapping tools like Visio and visual whiteboards like MIRO
  • Legislative or compliance change project experience
  • Previous experience utilising AI tools to identify technology-related impacts
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance obligations and code of conduct

Nice to have

Technical Business Analyst experience (advice, superannuation, or wealth is desirable)
