Are you a versatile Technical Business Analyst looking for a dynamic contract opportunity in Sydney? We are seeking a proactive Tech BA for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension, who can quickly integrate into the project and deliver immediate value. This unique role offers an engaging evolution: you will initially focus on technical integration analysis and implementation activities before transitioning into the long-term Business Systems Administrator responsible for the platform's post-implementation success.
Job Responsibility
Document existing API events, user management processes, and data exchange mechanisms to support procurement and vendor onboarding activities
Assist in defining technical integration patterns (real-time vs batch, API, file-based), error handling, reconciliation, and audit trail requirements
Participate in vendor solution walkthroughs, configuration sessions, and assist in identifying gaps between approved business requirements and configured functionality
Support end-to-end testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), while validating API transactions and data transfers
Manage post-implementation system configuration administration, user security profiles, master data, and coordinate vendor releases and upgrades
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in technical integration analysis, APIs, and event-driven workflows
Demonstrated ability to map out system interfaces and define technical requirements, including error handling, reconciliation, and audit trails
Hands-on experience supporting structured testing environments, specifically System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Experience or strong capability in transitioning into a Business Systems Administrator role, including managing user permissions, configuration administration, and master data
Excellent vendor liaison and troubleshooting skills to manage system incidents, coordinate issue resolution, and monitor failed interface processes
You must be a Sydney based candidate with full working rights to work in Australia be considered
