Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong focus on Developer Experience to assist and lead in translating business needs into technical execution for their internal web applications and services. Candidates should have a deep understanding of software development lifecycles and what engineering teams need to build and maintain cloud-based applications efficiently. This is a role for a problem solver who is eager to influence not only what software they build, but how it is built and experienced by their engineering teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take ownership of business and product requirements
  • Conduct thorough gap analyses
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
  • Act as the vital link between stakeholders and the engineering team
  • Provide documentation, OpenAPI/Swagger specs, and clear functional requirements
  • Lead gap analysis and technical audits
  • Facilitate estimation in fast-paced sprint cycles
  • Work cross-functionally across operational, technical, and creative teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in technical business analysis, technical product management, or software development required
  • Strong familiarity with modern full-stack development
  • Proven background in Technical Business Analysis or Systems Analysis
  • Deep understanding of the developer’s needs
  • Solid understanding of architectural design patterns
  • Proficiency in database concepts (PostgreSQL)
  • Extensive experience detailing RESTful API integrations
  • Proven ability to lead gap analysis and technical audits
  • Expert at writing comprehensive user stories with robust Technical Acceptance Criteria (TAC)
  • Comfortable navigating a “legacy-meets-modern” environment
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Expert with macOS, Visual Studio Code, Terminal, Jira, Confluence, and Creator Studio suite
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Clear and concise communication and organization skills
  • Passion for the brand and relentless in preserving its authenticity

Nice to have:

  • Past experience working directly as a software developer or engineer
  • Familiarity with API testing and documentation tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI)
  • Understanding of Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with automated testing strategies and frameworks (PHPUnit, Cypress, Selenium)
  • Experience with AI integrations like MCP tools
