Job Description:

The Technology Business Analyst is a medium-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team to drive efficient and scalable solutions that deliver value across the bank. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to the continuous rollout and support of the strategic Services Product capabilities in the markets within Egypt and the larger MENA Region.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements and new product designs
Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
Analyse business client needs, derive test cases, understand, and document their use case
Resolve problems by translating business requirements, identifying trends, and defining scope to inform technical solution as part of Product Development Lifecycle
Define and design enhancements to the system, business processes and process automation utilizing best practices and industry standards
Consult with users and clients to trouble shoot complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes and systems
Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
Foster communication between business leaders and IT stakeholders facilitating exchange of ideas/information in a concise and logical manner
Providing reports, metrics, and presentations to inform business users
Test systems to ensure projects meet requirements and identify system problems to develop solutions based on analyses
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members through deep knowledge of Financial Markets within Egypt and the larger MENA Region
Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and work as a team to improve efficiency of delivery, performing other duties and functions as assigned
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

Significant relevant experience in a Technical role
Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
Agile Project Management experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
