Technical Business Analyst Support a major Major Wealth Management Transformation Project FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. FinXL is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Wealth Management client on a key transformation engagement. In this role, your core focus will be mapping current‑state Compass reports to future‑state Blue Door data, including renamed, transformed, calculated, and derived fields. The ideal candidate will bring strong source‑to‑target data mapping and reporting analysis skills, alongside the ability to comfortably navigate and work through ambiguity. Responsibilities Analyse current-state reports and data fields in legacy systems. Map reporting requirements to the future-state platform. Identify direct, renamed, transformed, calculated, and derived fields. Engage subject matter experts to uncover undocumented reporting logic. Translate data mapping outcomes into clear requirements for report builds. Identify and manage assumptions, gaps, and cross-stream dependencies. Document data mapping decisions clearly for downstream delivery teams. Key Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst. Proven experience in source-to-target data mapping for system migrations. Strong reporting requirements analysis experience beyond report development. Experience handling calculated, derived, and transformed data fields. Ability to engage stakeholders and extract logic from poor documentation. Comfort working through ambiguity in fast-paced project environments. Experience in financial services, wealth management, or superannuation. Why Join FinXL?
