We are seeking a dedicated Technical Assistant to join our team at Cranswick in Great Britain. This role is vital in supporting our production and administrative operations, ensuring smooth workflows and maintaining our commitment to excellence. Based in Great Britain, the Technical Assistant will contribute to upholding our standards of quality and efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Provide support to the Factory Technical Manager by being directly responsible for the day to day running of all the tasks assigned to the role
Analyse data and identify emerging trends
Completing all relevant KPI reports and logging of complaints / non-conformances and sharing the information to the wider teams
Support in the develop of the site’s paperless system
Completion of paperwork and Quality Attribute Specifications (QAS) updates and issuing to the relevant departments where necessary
Supporting and collating information as required for any customer visits, internal or external audits
Responding to customer queries in regard to certification, policies, additional information
Complete trace abilities on site against the internal trace schedule and report back any findings
Complete the projects set by the Factory Technical Manager in a timely manner
Sample collection and submission on daily basis
Support team in factory when needed
Ad hoc projects and duties as appropriate and in line with current studies
QAS, specification updates, any changes except for process changes (new suppliers, new packaging,(codes))
Distribution of updated QAS, specification - in factory (folders)
Be involved with relevant non conformance investigation and root cause analysis

Requirements:
Proven experience with office administration and data entry
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Group and site induction
Level 2 H&S awareness
Understanding of relevant risk assessments and safe working procedures
Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting
