Job Responsibility

  • Assist and support the account manager on their team
  • Play a central role in drafting and updating documentation
  • Create and update client accounts and documents
  • Analyze insurance policies (if certified)
  • Process transaction invoices
  • Oversee the issuance, modification, and cancellation of policies according to established procedures
  • Support, mentor, and perform tasks specific to their team

Requirements

  • Secretarial training (AEC or DEP), an asset
  • Over 2 years of relevant professional experience (in Canada)
  • Certified in commercial property and casualty insurance by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Autonomous, resourceful, and possess a high level of professional ethics
  • Team player and enjoy fostering collaboration
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) to communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis and to work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English

Nice to have

  • Certified in commercial property and casualty insurance by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
  • Secretarial training (AEC or DEP)
