We’re looking for a highly skilled Tech Artist to shape our game and help establish and sustain a pipeline for maintaining and creating mobile Graphical Assets. As a tech artist in SciPlay you will work along with artists and animators to integrate assets into the mobile game. You will work from within the Unity Editor and help ensure that visual content is implemented efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with performance and design goals.
Job Responsibility:
Integrate and implement 2D assets into the Unity engine in a performant and optimized manner
Collaborate with artists and animators to ensure visual consistency and technical efficiency
Manage sprite atlases and optimize 2D assets for performance and memory usage
Support production builds and assist in identifying and resolving asset-related bugs
Make informed technical and creative decisions that balance aesthetics and performance
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in Unity Engine
At least 1 year of experience in a 2D package, preferably Photoshop, and sprite atlas management
Basic knowledge of scripting (C#) – big advantage
Previous experience working in the gaming industry – big advantage
