An individual contributor with strong artist skill and technical knowledge to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between art and technology, ensuring the seamless integration of visual elements into our slot games. The Game Artist will collaborate closely with artists and developers to optimize graphics, implement animations, and elevate the overall visual quality of our games.
Job Responsibility:
Investigate and create optimization document for game art and dev integration processes
Optimize High resolution game art assets considering different platforms like iOS, Android and WedGL
Learn the technical aspects of game development, including the game engine and asset integration
Implement and fine-tune animation transitions, blending, and other technical aspects to achieve a polished and fluid gaming experience
Collaborate with game producer and development team to integrate visually stunning game assets into the game engine while maintaining optimal performance
Work closely with animators to integrate animations seamlessly into the game engine
Collaborate with developers and leads to address performance issues and implement solutions for optimal frame rates
Strong problem-solving skills, especially when faced with technical challenges in integrating graphics, animations and particles into the game engine
Stay curious and be willing to learn continuously. The field of game development evolves rapidly, and keeping up with new tools and techniques is essential
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in fine arts or related discipline or equivalent industry experience
5 to 10 years of total experience in the game industry as a game artist / motion graphic artist
Strong knowledge on game optimization techniques
Proven experience as a game artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of artistic techniques, ideally including previous work on games or interactive media
Proficiency in using Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects, 3D software, Unity, etc.
Strong communication skills to effectively interpret creative briefs, give and receive constructive feedback, and work closely with cross-functional teams
Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
