We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Artist who thrives at the intersection of art and engineering. You’ll be responsible for elevating the visual quality of our games by building optimized shaders, lighting setups, and technical solutions — all while supporting our art and development teams in creating visually stunning and performant experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Designing and implementing stylized and optimized shaders and materials in Unity
Creating and maintaining lighting setups to enhance visual clarity, mood, and performance
Collaborating with 3D artists, animators and engineers to ensure smooth asset integration and pipeline efficiency
Supporting the team with technical tools, scene organization, and performance profiling
Diagnosing and solving visual or performance issues in mobile builds
Maintaining a strong artistic eye while applying technical constraints to production
Requirements:
Strong Unity experience with a focus on Shader Graph, Lighting, and Material systems
Solid understanding of rendering pipelines (URP/Built-in, HDRP is a plus)
Familiarity with profiling tools and optimization strategies (LOD, batching, lightmaps, draw calls)
Ability to work with stylized art and casual mobile game aesthetics
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Game Art, Computer Graphics or related fields is preferred
Nice to have:
Experience in rigging, animation pipelines or VFX is a plus
