Job Description:

Technical Architect role within the Digital Services Team at the Nursing and Midwifery Council, responsible for delivering digital platforms and technology solutions that support the NMC's regulatory role. The position focuses on designing secure, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Shaping the technical architecture of new solutions and enhancements built on the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Analysing business and technical requirements
  • Identifying appropriate solution options
  • Translating complex technical challenges into clear, implementable designs
  • Producing high-quality technical documentation and architecture diagrams
  • Identifying technical risks and advising stakeholders
  • Working closely with solution architects and delivery teams to monitor progress and troubleshoot issues

Requirements:

  • Strong experience designing and delivering technical solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform and D365 ecosystem
  • Confidence to engage with complex integration and security considerations
  • Comfortable working across legacy and modern platforms
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Structured, methodical approach to design and delivery
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality outcomes
