Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Architect to join Sopra Steria Polska and one of our innovative international squads. You will support the design and validation of a large-scale enterprise data platform initiative. You will work closely with the internal architecture team and play a key role in ensuring that the platform is designed according to enterprise-grade scalability.

Job Responsibility

  • Advise and support the design of the Microsoft Fabric platform architecture
  • Challenge and validate technical decisions and implementation approaches
  • Guide the internal architect and stakeholders on best practices related to: scalability, governance, security, performance, maintainability
  • Help define the platform capabilities and services required by business users
  • Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Contribute to the definition of enterprise data engineering standards and operating models
  • Ensure alignment between technical implementation and business expectations

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Proven experience in large-scale enterprise data engineering projects
  • Strong expertise in: Azure data ecosystem, Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures, Power BI, Synapse / Fabric services, data governance and enterprise data platforms
  • Ability to operate both at architecture and technical implementation level
  • Experience advising stakeholders and validating architecture decisions in complex environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • EU citizenship
  • Fluent English: B2/C1
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice
