Job Description:

SoftClouds seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Lead to drive our cloud infrastructure strategy, implementation, and operations across AWS, OCI, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. This leadership role demands strong technical expertise, a hands-on approach to DevOps tools and automation, and the ability to manage a high-performing team while aligning with business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployments across AWS, GCP, OCI and Azure
Architect and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure
Hands-on experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline delivery and reliability
Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
Champion automation in infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and system configurations
Optimize cloud costs and manage vendor relationships across cloud platforms
Guide and mentor a team of DevOps engineers
conduct code reviews, provide technical direction, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements across cloud environments

Requirements:

10+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead role
Proven expertise in managing production environments on AWS, GCP, OCI and Azure
Strong knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and cloud-native technologies
Good understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cost optimization across clouds
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk)
Experience with incident management, disaster recovery, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC2, HIPAA)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Certifications in any or all of the cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert)
Experience in FinTech, HealthTech, automotive or other regulated industries
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
