Job Description

For an international organization operating in the production sector, we are looking for an Techinal Applications Specialist (Developer). In this role, you will be part of the Applications Improvement & Integration team, which is responsible for the development, integration, and continuous improvement of business-critical software applications that support operational processes across the organization. The organization operates within a complex and evolving application landscape, where there is a strong focus on software development, system integration, and technical optimization. Many of the core applications are developed and maintained in-house, enabling close collaboration between developers, application specialists, and business stakeholders. Within the team, you will focus primarily on designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that improve the functionality, reliability, and performance of existing applications while also contributing to the development of new system components and integrations. The team works in a project-driven environment, delivering both enhancements to existing systems and the development of new technical capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, application specialists, and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and robust application code. You will report to the Team Lead Applications Improvement and collaborate closely with developers, application specialists, and business stakeholders across the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions and application components

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience as a software developer
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions is a strong plus
  • Experience with Power Fx
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with JSON
  • Experience with Web Services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders
  • Ability to ask the right questions to clearly understand requirements
  • Proactive and capable of independently investigating issues
  • Results-oriented and pragmatic
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
