Job Description

We’re expanding our Technical Insulation industrial segment across Europe and is seeking a Technical Application Manager to strengthen technical excellence, market insight and commercial impact. In this newly created role, you will translate customer needs into tailored, compliant Promat solutions, supporting them throughout the full project lifecycle. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring safe, efficient and application-specific fire protection and insulation systems while collaborating closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D and external certification bodies.

Job Responsibility

  • Support customers in the design, specification, and application of Promat high-temperature insulation systems
  • Translate customer challenges and regulatory requirements into practical, compliant, and high-performing solutions
  • Provide technical guidance across the full project lifecycle, including design reviews, documentation, installation support, and after-sales assistance
  • Evaluate product suitability, compliance with standards, and associated risks to ensure safe and correct implementation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying levels of complexity and technical requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Workshop Engineers, and external testing/certification bodies
  • Deliver technical training, documentation, and clear explanations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to support innovation and product development

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in refractory engineering, ceramics, thermal dynamics, or related technical fields
  • Proven experience in refractory industries, or other high-temperature industrial processes
  • Application knowledge in fire protection, thermal insulation
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective system designs
  • Confident communicator capable of delivering clear technical explanations, documentation, and training
  • Solution-oriented mindset with strong decision-making and analytical skills
  • Proactive and commercially savvy with a competitive drive
  • Strong ability to identify market trends and convert them into opportunities
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup and managing multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel (50%)
  • Fluent English is a must
