Job Description:

Carex is partnering with a financial services leader to identify a Technical Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting complex, enterprise-level initiatives. This role is designed for a seasoned analyst who can operate with minimal direction, influence solution design, and act as a trusted partner to both business and technology leaders. You’ll play a critical role in shaping technical solutions, driving clarity across teams, and ensuring that business needs are translated into scalable, high-quality technology outcomes—with a clear path to full-time employment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead requirements discovery and analysis for complex business and technical initiatives
  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into technical solutions
  • Own the creation of detailed functional and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, architects, and QA
  • Influence solution design and evaluate tradeoffs related to system architecture, integrations, and data flows
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts or team members as needed
  • Support testing efforts including test strategy, UAT coordination, and defect resolution
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps early
  • proactively recommend mitigation strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement in analysis practices, documentation standards, and delivery processes

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Senior Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise applications, integrations, and data-driven systems
  • Strong understanding of application development lifecycles and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to independently lead analysis efforts and influence outcomes across teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders and technical teams
  • Strong documentation skills, including process flows, data mappings, and system diagrams
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services or insurance is highly preferred

Nice to have:

  • Experience with APIs, system integrations, and modern application architectures
  • SQL or advanced data analysis experience
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and large-scale enterprise systems
  • Prior experience in a contract-to-hire or consulting environment
