Job Description:

Baxter is looking for a Technical Analyst to manage and maintain warehouse automation systems, including WMS, RF devices, network infrastructure, and reporting. The role includes troubleshooting issues and optimizing processes at warehouse facilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and travel may be required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the functional activities within our computer-based Automation
  • Coordinate with systems, network and/or database administrators
  • Ensure Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality and troubleshoot related issues
  • Support end users and manage automated equipment such as RF devices and printers
  • Perform database management and report writing using tools like Microsoft SQL, Oracle, SAP Crystal Reports, IBM Cognos, or Tableau
  • Implement system installations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Facilitate optimization of processes through Lean initiatives
  • Define and document standard operating procedures
  • Review and refine performance KPIs
  • Coordinate change management with patches and bug fixes.

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of the application development process
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid business knowledge
  • Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work within a team setting
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant university discipline preferred (or relevant work experience in systems)
  • MCSE/MCSA preferred
  • 2-5 Years SAP Crystal Reports/IBM Cognos experience
  • 5+ Years Information Technology experience
  • 1-3 Years WMS experience
  • Travel/Work Environment - 25% possible travel at times
  • Warehouse environment that may include PC work, concrete walking, lifting, and safety attire.

Nice to have:

  • MCSE/MCSA certification
  • Experience in AGV’s, LGV’s autonomous vehicles
  • Experience with laser navigation systems
  • Experience with ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems)
  • Experience with VMware platform.
