Susquehanna is looking for a Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst to join our Tech AI team in our Sydney office. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders across our businesses to drive projects that enhance operational efficiency and modernize our systems with cutting-edge generative AI technologies. This is an opportunity to combine your strong organisational skills, communication abilities, and project management expertise with exposure to innovative technologies shaping the future of corporate operations. As part of a small, but growing team in a new space you will be fundamental in establishing how AI is adopted across the firm.
Job Responsibility:
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and our technology team to ensure alignment, clarity, and shared ownership of Tech AI projects
Lead end-to-end project execution: creating plans, managing timelines, defining milestones, and keeping the team and stakeholders on track
Gather and document requirements using interviews and design sessions translating business needs into technically viable AI and Machine Learning solutions and actionable plans
Collaborate with the rest of the project management team and Tech AI developers to identify and recommend process improvements that streamline operations within the Tech AI team and beyond
Work closely with Learning & Development and Marketing on firm outreach, raising awareness of tools and services through online resources, educational seminars, and events
Manage third-party solution pilots and implementations
Communicate progress, risks, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Work closely with Tech AI leadership and other areas of the firm
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, or systems analysis with hands on experience implementing AI and Machine Learning tooling and methodologies, including designing and applying AI solutions
Knowledge of AI concepts and their potential business applications (e.g., GPT workflows, RAG architecture, agent-based processes)
Self-starter with proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and balancing competing priorities
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
Experience with SDLC models and comfort working on both technical and non-technical projects
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
Nice to have:
Familiarity with data integration, vendor feeds, or enterprise applications
Experience with SQL or data analysis tools
