Job Description

The Technical Alignment Manager (TAM) is the primary technical advisor and client-facing contact for assigned managed service accounts. They ensure each client’s environment remains standardized, secure, and compliant with Zazz’s MSP frameworks — driving technical consistency, risk reduction, and continuous improvement through proactive reviews and roadmaps.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct quarterly technical and compliance reviews using NinjaOne, Intune, Defender, Axcient, Cynomi, and Purview
  • Audit client environments for patching, AV, backup, identity, and security gaps
  • Maintain and enforce Zazz’s technical standards and baselines across all clients
  • Collaborate with vCISO and delivery teams to address risks and track remediation
  • Present alignment reports and technology roadmaps during client review meetings (QBRs)
  • Act as the technical POC for clients, translating technical findings into business impact
  • Ensure documentation and evidence updates in IT Glue / Zoho Vault

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-6 years in MSP
  • Strong understanding of MSP operations, RMM/PSA workflows, and compliance frameworks
  • Hands-on with: NinjaOne RMM / PSA for monitoring and automation
  • Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview
  • Axcient x360Recover / x360Cloud for BCDR validation
  • Cynomi for vCISO and compliance posture tracking
  • Meraki Dashboard, Cisco VPN, IT Glue, Zoho Vault
  • Proficiency in PowerShell / Bash scripting for audit and automation tasks
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-presentation skills
