As a Technical Advisor Trainee / ISO Management Systems Auditor, you’ll play a key role in supporting compliance and technical operations while developing into a fully qualified ISO auditor. Job Responsibility:

  • Train and shadow audits for ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, BES 6001 & Product Conformity)
  • Assist in planning audits, preparing documentation, and learning to identify non-conformities
  • Support technical review of audit reports and maintain compliance with accreditation requirements
  • Contribute to certification schemes, risk assessments, and client applications
  • Help manage certification records, internal audits, and liaise with UKAS for assessments
  • Undertake formal auditor and technical training programmes

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or similar
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Nice to have:

  • Awareness of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001)
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and certification body operations
  • Auditor/Lead Auditor training (or willingness to undertake)
  • Experience in quality, compliance, or technical advisory roles
