Job Description:

Technical Advisor to serve as the lead technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for International Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) initiatives. Working in direct support of the Program Manager for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Foreign Military Financing (FMF) programs, the Technical Advisor is primarily responsible for designing robust, interoperable network architectures and guiding the integration of complex system capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Network Architecture Development: Design, develop, and map out secure, scalable network architectures that connect disparate C-UAS sensors and effectors into a unified Command and Control (C2) interface
  • Systems Integration: Lead the technical integration of various C-UAS capabilities (e.g., radar, optical sensors, electronic warfare, and kinetic defeat mechanisms) to ensure seamless interoperability for partner nation forces
  • Emerging Technology Assessment: Continuously research, evaluate, and integrate new and emerging C-UAS technologies to ensure defense postures remain ahead of rapidly evolving drone threats
  • Comprehensive Protection Planning: Partner with the Program Manager to develop the technical blueprints and architectural designs required for the comprehensive protection of critical infrastructure, APODs, and SPODs
  • Technical Advisory: Serve as the primary technical authority during meetings with foreign dignitaries and military commanders, translating complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable operational

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) required
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Experience in Network Architecture Development and Systems Integration
  • At least 15 years of applicable experience
  • Must currently possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation
  • Ability to Travel is Required
  • Self-motivated
  • possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
