Job Description:

Office Angels Glasgow is currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to support our client's small team with a blend of administrative and technical tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a knack for keeping systems and processes running smoothly.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver administrative support to technical teams, including managing schedules, formatting reports, and preparing documentation
  • Support process improvements and assist with implementing new systems and tools
  • Update and maintain internal systems, databases, and records
  • Assist with the on-boarding of staff, including setting up IT equipment and user accounts
  • Liaise with IT support and vendors to help resolve technical issues and coordinate maintenance
  • Monitor and manage software licenses, hardware inventory, and procurement processes
  • Support data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks using Excel and other tools with precision and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience technical support or IT-focused role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with a variety of IT systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and terminology
  • The ability to confidently prioritise multiple tasks to ensure the most important work is completed
  • A motivated professional with a strong work ethic who takes pride in delivering high-quality work
