The HPE Revenue Analyst, will provide significant contribution to the Revenue accounting function for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, reporting into the Revenue Accounting Analyst. This role will have responsibility for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Revenue Accounting and will partner with business unit finance teams, corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), tax and others as necessary to provide Revenue accounting analysis and support on transactions and accounting issues.
Job Responsibility:
Provide significant contribution to the Revenue accounting function
Partner with business unit finance teams, corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), tax and others to provide Revenue accounting analysis and support on transactions and accounting issues
Communicate and drive adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization’s financial goals and policies
Represent financial results externally
Analyze contract and prepare revenue recognition checklist
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in accounting, finance, business, accounting (e.g., CPA (or equivalent), MBA) preferred
4 years of experience in a finance function
Big four public accounting experience is a plus
Experience with technology industry and international companies preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles under US GAAP
Revenue knowledge on Restructuring, Product Financing Arrangements, Tax Incentives, Lease Accounting, VIEs is preferred
Experience in researching and interpreting complex Revenue accounting and financial reporting issues

Self-starter who is able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills
Experience in business application (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SAP)
