Technical Accounting Manager

• Lead and oversee general ledger operations
• ensure accuracy and efficiency during month-end close
• Drive improvements to accounts payable workflows for enhanced financial operations
• Collaborate with Revenue Director to manage revenue accounting activities
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos for compliance with standards and regulations
• Own audit processes: focus on business process improvement, liaise with external auditors and internal teams, and facilitate audit cycles
• Support dual financial reporting requirements and technical reporting projects
• Utilize NetSuite to streamline processes and maintain financial data integrity
• Conduct account reconciliations and review journal entries for precise financial reporting
• Identify, implement, and drive business process improvements within accounting operations
• Stay current on cryptocurrency/financial services trends to inform accounting strategies
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to address complex accounting issues and provide expert guidance

• Active CPA license (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ technical accounting experience with leadership in month-end close and audit processes
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and regulatory standards
• Experience with NetSuite and modern accounting/reporting systems
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Experience in cryptocurrency (preferred) or financial services industry (required)
