We are looking for an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to join our team in Chelmsford, Massachusetts on a Contract basis. This role will focus on complex accounting matters, support the monthly and quarterly close cycle, and help ensure accurate consolidated financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, sharp attention to detail, and hands-on experience with corporate reporting tools in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Lead corporate consolidation activities and ensure financial results are accurately combined across reporting entities
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by preparing, reviewing, and finalizing key accounting deliverables
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity to maintain accurate financial records
Partner with stakeholders to produce reliable financial reports and assist with SEC reporting requirements as needed
Use Workiva and HFM to manage reporting workflows, documentation, and consolidation-related processes
Assist with audit requests by organizing schedules, responding to inquiries, and providing support for financial statement audits
Evaluate technical accounting issues and apply appropriate guidance to maintain compliance and consistency in reporting
Requirements
Proven experience in technical accounting, including corporate consolidations and close management
Strong working knowledge of month-end close, general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and journal entry review
Experience supporting financial statement audits and preparing documentation for external review
Proficiency with Workiva and HFM in a corporate accounting or reporting environment
Familiarity with SEC reporting and the preparation of accurate financial disclosures
Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
