Technical Accounting Manager

• Interpret and apply evolving accounting standards and regulatory changes to ensure compliance across financial operations
• Conduct thorough research on intricate accounting issues, such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, and fair value measurements, providing actionable recommendations
• Develop and maintain accounting policies aligned with current standards and collaborate with the Finance Operations Team to implement necessary processes
• Assist in the preparation and review of accurate financial statements and disclosures in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Provide technical guidance and training to finance and accounting teams on complex accounting matters
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring all documentation and explanations are provided effectively
• Evaluate accounting implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions, ensuring adherence to relevant standards
• Identify accounting-related risks and propose strategies to mitigate them
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to technical accounting issues and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as ASC 606 and ability to apply them effectively
• Proven analytical skills to research and resolve complex accounting challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with accounting software systems and tools
• Familiarity with compliance requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley, is a plus
