Requirements

Preferably hold a current CPA designation
5+ years of experience, specializing in technical accounting or accounting policy roles, gained from Big 4/National CPA firm or a public company
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of evolving technical accounting and reporting matters
Showcase proficiency in crafting technical accounting position and policy documents
Exhibit an ability to create intricate accounting models and valuations in Excel
Preferred experience with derivatives and hedging, debt and equity transactions
Proven technical written and executive level verbal communication skills
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and an ability to consistently meet deadlines.

Job Responsibility

Conduct technical accounting analysis for complex transactions, adhering to US GAAP and document conclusions in formal accounting memos
Stay abreast of evolving US GAAP standards
actively contribute to research, analysis, and implementation of new accounting pronouncements
thoroughly document conclusions in whitepapers
Develop robust accounting policies, processes, and internal controls, ensuring alignment with US GAAP standards
Provide support for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close and financial reporting processes as well as technical accounting areas, footnote disclosures and audit responses
Conduct reviews of contracts for accounting/finance implications
document and communicate conclusions as necessary
Drive continuous improvement by enhancing existing accounting-related processes
Assist with foreign country compliance and IFRS/foreign reporting requirements

Liaise with internal teams in order to resolve issues or create solutions in order to drive adoption
Partnering with the Customer Success Team, to own the relationship with customers’ technical team for the assigned accounts
Assist with product integration, provide solutions to implement Use Case, ensure performance and data sanity
Attend customer queries, inquiries, tickets and resolve them to enable usage of CleverTap product by the client through the complete lifecycle
Participate in technical discussions with the customer to identify use cases, technical enhancements in the product and provide actionable inputs to the internal teams (CS, Product, Engineering, etc.)
Document technical requirements create content, estimate schedules and timelines, goals/metrics, and customer objective key results and outcomes
