Job Description:

Allen Lane are currently helping a London based Council with the recruitment of a Technical Accountant on an interim basis for initially 6 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting on the preparation of the Statement of accounts
Supporting with pulling together information for the Audit pack
VAT Returns
Balance sheet reconciliations and various year end reconciliations
Acting as a key point support to the technical team and supporting on various technical accounting tasks where necessary

Requirements:

Experienced Accountant
Previous experience in a similar role in Local Authority
Strong technical accountant
