Job Description

Allen Lane are currently helping a London based Council with the recruitment of a Technical Accountant on an interim basis for initially 6 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting on the preparation of the Statement of accounts
  • Supporting with pulling together information for the Audit pack
  • VAT Returns
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and various year end reconciliations
  • Acting as a key point support to the technical team and supporting on various technical accounting tasks where necessary

Requirements

  • Experienced Accountant
  • Previous experience in a similar role in Local Authority
  • Strong technical accountant
