Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinates and conducts field-based applied research for local product placement and tailored solutions under local farming conditions
  • Provides timely completion of projects, placement of trials to meet the local market needs, and integrity of the data collected
  • Communicates actionable insights from this applied research that are based upon sound data analysis using appropriate and scientifically rigorous methods
  • Embraces digital tools including CRM tools and technologies, utilizing data and insights to offer customer focused solutions and enhance dealers’-partners’ capabilities
  • generates high quality data and insights to strengthen the company’s understanding of our customers
  • Uses agronomic and portfolio knowledge to provide market and competitor insights, advises stakeholders and transfers knowledge on crop production/management best practices and positioning tailored solutions
  • Secures alignment to the Customer Facing Squad/Unit commercial strategy. Develops and executes strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market penetration for our seed products. Identifies and prioritize sales opportunities, prospect new customers and cultivates strong relationships with existing clients
  • Drives Demand Creation by creating awareness about our varieties & solutions across the full chain ( grower, distributors, packers, traders, retailers, packaging companies etc.)
  • Conducts field visits, seed demonstrations, and trials to showcase the performance and benefits of our seed products
  • Drives new product launches and implements local launch strategies of new vegetable seed products and/or solutions. Collaborates with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies, promotional programs, and sales initiatives
  • Gives the demand signal through forecasting process

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in Greek and English), negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly analytical, able to convert data to practical-applied knowledge and solutions for partners and customers
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven (Focused on outcomes) and co- creation mindset, with dedicated customer focus
  • Self-motivation, agile mindset, business acumen along with an innovative and problem-solving attitude
  • Strong team player and ability to collaborate
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent overall computer skills and understanding of digital tools
  • University Degree in Agriculture
  • Strong agronomic knowledge and understanding of crop production practices, soil science, and seed technology
