Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop and test electrical and/or electronics hardware and/or firmware for downhole tools and surface systems
  • Diagnose instruments and electrical and/or electronic systems problems
  • Service, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace and maintain instrument and electrical and/or electronics component levels in surface and downhole equipment
  • Perform analytical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical and/or electronic systems
  • Develop, test and debug firmware for Microprocessor/Micro-controller/DSP system
  • Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria
  • Develop specifications, conduct process study, research investigations, and report preparation
  • Incorporate reliability analysis during the design and test process
  • Comply with Halliburton HSE and Service Quality requirements

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar discipline
  • 2 years of related experience
