Job Description

As a Tech Lead you will be solving complex technical problems impacting thousands of customers. You'll be joining a brand-new team of engineers, working on projects from scratch. You will collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders and the tech team. You will be reporting directly to the CTO. At Metrify, Tech Leads provide clear technical direction and set a high bar for quality.You will be a hands-on technical leader who drive impact through strong delivery and thoughtful architecture, taking ownership of complex initiatives and influencing outcomes across multiple teams and domains.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in software development with a focus on backend systems, building distributed and high-availability services
  • Highly independent and an owner with experience owning complex technical initiatives from concept through execution
  • Comfortable making sound technical decisions in ambiguous or evolving contexts
  • Experienced in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or C#, or tech-agnostic
  • Ideally have worked with RESTful API design, service-oriented architecture, and database interactions (SQL & NoSQL)
  • Work experience with building cloud-native applications
  • Communicate clearly in English, spoken and written
  • Agile and lean values are embodied by you

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with containers (Docker), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, external APIs, or event-driven architectures
  • Knowledge of German is a plus
