Job Description:

We're on a mission to reinvent the financial system and make it work for people. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead a full-stack engineering team comprising backend and mobile engineers. As a hands-on Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to designing and developing some of our early-stage innovative products (0-1). You will work with your cross-functional partners and team to shape the direction of these products and contribute to making them significant drivers for the company.

Job Responsibility:

Be a strong partner to the product and other engineering teams to drive improvements to business metrics and build new features
Drive the design and implementation of new product areas and features
Guide your team through ambiguity and ensure technical excellence through rapid experimentation cycles
Guide your team to strong execution
Lead the team through frequent pivots and evolving priorities in a rapidly changing environment
Recruit other exceptional engineers for your team and assist with recruiting efforts for various teams
Be a mentor and coach for the engineers on your team
Manage cross-functional relationships with all teams to deliver high-quality products

Requirements:

Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
5+ years of experience in software engineering
2+ years leading a small team in an IC leadership or EM capacity
Experience diving into architecture, writing clean and scalable code, and solving challenging technical problems
Experience mentoring engineers, shaping team culture, and driving delivery
Ability to work comfortably with a cross-functional team of PMs, Analysts, and mobile and back-end-focused engineers
Experience leading a team that consistently produced high-quality output and critical infrastructure
Creative, tenacious problem solver with a get-it-done attitude
Ability to inspire others
Ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment
